Here is the LaTeX-template for our project report. Rather than writing everything, like title-page, contents, bibliography etc, in a single source file, we have divided it into seperate files, which makes it easier to modify, debug & to read.
What do we have here?
There are 4 .tex files
base.tex- is a parent file & other files are included in it.
title.tex- title page. You need to edit names, usn etc.
contents.tex- you can start writing report contents in this starting with abstract till conclusion.
bibl.tex- add references & links here (bibiliography).
images- directory which contains images of SJCE and VTU logos

Note: You can create still more .tex sources for your report, say blk-dia.tex, hw-spec.tex… But you should place it in your base.tex directory & include that .tex file in base.tex & generate.
What should i do?
- Download the template from: Download template
- Extract the contents of .zip file to a folder
- Edit the 4 .tex files with your project contents.
- You can place all the images and code files in respective folders and link them to your report with this path.
- After all editing is done, Open base.tex in gedit.
- Under Tools, click on Latex->pdf…base.pdf is created which is your final report file.
